Display coatings
Oleophobic and hydrophobic coatings create a transparent film over a surface, making it oil-repellent while also reducing friction. The coated surface is also less susceptible to dirt and is easier to clean. The available options are fluoropolymer coatings (a conventional non-stick coating) or nanocoatings. Both of these coatings change the structure of the coated surface, which ensures that no oils, liquids or dirt can stick to the surface.
SCHÜTZE offers a range of different products that can be used to apply these display coatings. We will gladly advise you on which of these products are best suited to your selected coating type.
Casting compounds
Different casting compounds are used in the electrotechnology sector, with epoxides or polyurethanes being the most common choice in the area of small components. Epoxy resins are very hard, chemical-resistant plastics used for the insulation and protection of electrotechnical components. The casting resin reaches very high temperatures during the hardening process, which can damage sensitive assemblies. Silicones are therefore more suitable for larger components, due in addition to the fact that they can withstand strong temperature fluctuations and vibrations. Both materials have a high thermal conductivity and are fire-retardant.
SCHÜTZE has developed special solutions for the processing of these casting compounds, which are precisely adapted to the properties of the corresponding material.
Soldering agents
In order to achieve a reliable solder connection, all contamination firstly needs to be removed from the PCBs and components being processed. This is performed using special fluids, a wide variety of which are available on the market. Choosing the right fluid depends on the particular purpose and the selected starting material. Most of the available fluids can be applied using a spraying process. The products from SCHÜTZE allow you to apply the selected fluid precisely, economically and in the perfect quantities.
Fluids for selective soldering systems
Selective soldering systems mean that different products can be produced without having to modify the machinery. This is made possible thanks to a modular system that allows the user to switch between different solder pots and spray heads. Different spray heads are needed because different fluids need to be used for the various products, and because these fluids are applied with different dosings.
But this type of innovative technology is only ever as good as the tools and components it works with. Not only do these tools and components need to meet the quality standards expected of the entire system; they also need to be able to withstand the particular stresses of the production process. SCHÜTZE products meet all of these requirements with ease.
